Five-star shooting guard Ian Jackson is set to make his college decision on Monday afternoon, ending his recruitment.
The Brox, New York native has 14 offers in his recruitment and took five visits but this race appears to be down to a pair of blue blood programs with UNC and Kentucky battling it out. Going into Monday, it seemed like the Kentucky Wildcats were in the lead to land the prized recruit. However, things may have changed.
After Kentucky had the crystal ball lead on 247Sports, the Tar Heels have now picked up a prediction and it comes from a national analyst. Travis Branham of 247Sports logged his crystal ball prediction for North Carolina on Monday afternoon.
It’s the only national analyst with a prediction and it comes with a confidence of 7 just hours ahead of the decision.
Now, we should note that predictions aren’t guaranteed in any way. BUT UNC fans should feel comfortable with this, especially with how quiet the recruitment for Jackson has been leading to the decision.
