Women’s Basketball Drops Home Rematch Against Queens

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women’s basketball (5-10, 2-3 ASUN) dropped their second game played against Queens in nine days (6-10, 1-4 ASUN), as they struggled to find offense in their 68-53 loss on Saturday afternoon.

The Ospreys led by as many as eight points in the first quarter, but wasn’t able to maintain the scoring consistency throughout the game. They fell to a 21-point deficit at the half and couldn’t recover despite a run of eight straight points in the fourth quarter.

Jaelyn Swann had an impressive day from beyond the arc, as she scored 15 points and matched her season-high in threes with five total. Sarah Taub also scored double-digit figures for the first time in her collegiate career with 10 points.
