Recap: After losing on Wednesday to Duquesne, VCU looked to bounce back on Saturday as they hosted Davidson for their first meeting on the season.
All the shots that didn’t drop Wednesday in Pittsburgh, found their way to the bottom of the bucket at the Stu against the Wildcats. VCU connected on an amazing 63% of their three points, going 15 from 24 on the day.
Four Rams ended the game scoring in double digits. Sophomore Jayden Nunn 12, senior David Shriver 18, junior Ace Baldwin Jr 19, graduate Brandon Johns Jr 14 and red shirt sophomore Jamir Watkins scored 10.
Next Game: VCU will travel to Loyola Chicago to face off against the rookie team in the conference on Tuesday January 10th at 7pm. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
