An eventful day in the SEC concludes at Neville Arena Saturday evening when the No. 20 Auburn Tigers host the No. 13 Arkansas Razorbacks in what will be the SEC’s only ranked-vs-ranked matchup of the day.
Auburn will look to bounce back after taking a disappointing 76-64 loss to Georgia on Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum. The Tigers lost sight of the Bulldogs in the second half, and could not catch up. Johni Broome was a bright point for Auburn, as he recorded his second-straight double-double by scoring 22 and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Arkansas took care of Missouri on Wednesday, 74-68. The Razorbacks trailed at home to the Tigers by 17 points, but a strong showing by Joseph Pinion lifted the Razorbacks to a win. The victory was a rebound game after the Hogs dropped their first SEC game to LSU on Dec. 28 in Baton Rouge.
