Buffs resume Pac-12 play at Stanford

Now in sole possession of first place on the program’s all-time head coach wins list, Tad Boyle is looking for more as the Colorado men’s basketball team resumes Pac-12 play Thursday night at Stanford.

The 8-5 Buffs come in riding a four-game win streak but are still winless in conference play after falling to Arizona State and Washington earlier this season.

Fortunately, Stanford is a beatable opponent as the 5-7 Cardinal are also 0-2 against Pac-12 opponents. Head coach Jerod Haase’s team receives most of its offensive production from a pair of Jones’s with both Spencer and Michael Jones averaging over 10 points per game.

For the Buffs, potential first-team All-Pac-12 guard KJ Simpson is averaging 17.2 per game and Tristan da Silva is close behind at 14.9.

Grab some coffee, Tip-off is at 9 p.m. MT on ESPNU.
