The Detroit Pistons are known to be open to making trades. The Pistons have engaged in trade talks for veterans Alec Burks and Nerlens Noel. One surprising player Detroit is open to trading is Saddiq Bey.
However, the Pistons have a big ask in return for Bey. Detroit wants an unprotected first-round pick for the third-year forward.
Bey’s role for the Pistons has been in some flux this season. He opened the year as a starter but was moved to the bench when Detroit went to two-big lineups to open games.
Bey has the remainder of this season and next season left on his rookie scale contract. He’ll be extension-eligible this summer.
