When you set the record for triple-doubles in the Big Ten paired with setting an Iowa record with 45 points scored in a game, things are usually going to trend pretty well for you that week.
That is exactly what has happened with the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ Caitlin Clark this week. The women’s basketball star finds herself named the Big Ten Player of the Week.
In a loss to North Carolina State, Clark put up 45 points on a 16-for-28 shooting performance. After that outing, Clark notched 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Wisconsin Badgers.

The Hawkeyes’ next contest comes on Wednesday, December when they welcome in the Iowa State Cyclones for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The game will be at 6pm CT on ESPN 2 and on Hawkeye Radio Network.
Following that matchup, the Hawkeyes get back into conference play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, December 10. After that, they host their two final out of conference games against Northern Iowa and Dartmouth before the stretch of Big Ten play takes off.
