How to watch Penn State vs. Colorado State men’s basketball game

Penn State will wrap up its weekend down south by playing for third place in the 2022 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic. After taking its first loss of the season on Friday with a setback against Virginia Tech, the Nittany Lions will look to end the weekend tournament on a winning note as they face Colorado State in the tournament’s third-place game.

Colorado State suffered a loss to the host school, Charleston, on Friday after the Nittany Lions fell short against Virginia Tech in the first game of the day. At 4-1, Penn State would still have good reason to feel good coming home from Charleston with a 5-1 record to show for it.

Here is how to catch all of the action on Sunday as Penn State closes out the Charleston Classic.

ESPN’s metrics are seeming to be in favor of Penn State picking up a win over the Rams. As of late Saturday night, the ESPN Basketball Power Index was giving Penn State a 62.3% chance of winning.

Penn State was probably due for a bit of a cold game with the offense, and it may have cost them against Virginia Tech in the second round matchup of the Charleston Classic. Jalen Pickett and Seth Lundy were handled well by the Hokies a day after the two scorers recorded 20-point games against Furman in the opening game of the tournament.

Four of Virginia Tech’s starters scored in double-figures while the Nittany Lions dug a big hole early and couldn’t quite dig all the way out of it.
