Ducks Host Carroll College in Lone Exhibition

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon, ranked No. 20 in the preseason AP poll, will play its lone exhibition contest of the preseason when it plays host to Carroll College Friday at 6 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena.
 
The Ducks are coming off their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance a season ago and return six letter winners and welcome in five newcomers to the 2022-23 roster. Oregon officially begins its campaign at home on Monday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. against Northwestern.

Oregon will play its lone exhibition game at Matthew Knight Arena when it hosts Carroll College on Friday at 6 p.m. The No. 20 Ducks enter the season as one of just seven programs to be voted inside the top 20 of the AP top-25 poll each of the last six seasons, an elite group that includes Baylor, Louisville, Maryland, South Carolina, Stanford and UConn. UO’s 2022-23 roster includes six returners to pair with the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, highlighted by four freshmen ranked in ESPNW’s top 60 recruits.
 
WELCOME BACK
The Ducks welcome back six players from last season’s NCAA Tournament team. Oregon will be led by a pair of All-Pac-12 selections from a year ago in Te-Hina Paopao and Endyia Rogers. The backcourt duo was joined by Sedona Prince on the preseason all-Pac-12 team. Additionally, the Ducks bring back Taylor Hosendove, Ahlise Hurst and Phillipina Kyei. Two players from that group have garnered national recognition during the preseason, as Paopao was named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list and Prince was selected to the Lisa Leslie Award watch list.
