Tyler Nickel, one of four freshmen on the University of North Carolina men’s basketball roster for the 2022-23 season, is a wing from Harrisonburg, Va., who comes to the Tar Heels with a reputation as a top-notch long-range shooter and scorer.
The 6-7 Nickel enrolled at Caroina for the second session of summer school in 2022 and aims to earn minutes among a group of wings that also includes Leaky Black, RJ Davis, Caleb Love, Puff Johnson, Dontrez Styles and D’Marco Dunn.
