The Boston Celtics have been among the most successful teams of all time in the NBA Playoffs, which probably ought to come as little surprise given they are currently tied with their longtime rival Los Angeles Lakers for having won the most NBA titles at 17 each.
But they have also had (and currently have) alumni who have struggled to win in the postseason, either with the Celtics or with other teams throughout the course of their careers. A couple of them have even won the dubious honor of having been included in a recent assessment by HoopsHype’s Frank Urbina of the players who have been swept from the playoffs the most times.
