The Atlanta Hawks have emerged as another suitor amongst interested teams on Jae Crowder, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Per Charania, the Hawks are keeping in touch with the Phoenix Suns for several weeks, looking at any possibility to land the disgruntled cager.

The Hawks and Suns have had conversations in recent weeks, sources said, as Atlanta has attempted to see if there’s a way to acquire Crowder to bring into their Big 3 of Trae Young, Dejounte Murray and John Collins

Crowder, a Georgia native, remains away from the Suns as both sides mutually agreed to not collaborate with each other. The veteran remains waiting for a trade to come into a reality.

Crowder is set to hit a contract year this upcoming season worth $10.18MM in salary, and any team that can offer a starting gig will provide him a needed boost to raise his market value next offseason.

Other than the Hawks, the Milwaukee Bucks was named for the past few days as another trade candidate pursuing him.
