Both the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets are moving several players ahead of the upcoming season.

The Thunder are trading away Derrick Favors, Ty Jerome, Moe Harkless, Theo Maledon and a 2025 second-round pick via Atlanta to the Houston Rockets for David Nwaba, Sterling Brown, Trey Burke and Marquese Chriss, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

As noted by Wojnarowski, the deal serves as a cap-centric one for both Thunder and the Rockets.

Though the swap stands as an impactful one given that both teams are currently rebuilding, the deal simply serves as further modification to finally create a final roster lineup before season tip-off begins.
