SEC Announces Women’s Basketball TV Times For 2022-23


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The SEC announced Wednesday that the Mississippi State women’s basketball program would be featured on national television 10 times throughout the 2022-23 season. Of the Bulldogs’ 10 TV games for the upcoming season, nine will be league contests.

Mississippi State’s first and only non-conference game on the SEC Network this season will be Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. CT when the Bulldogs welcome Texas A&M-Commerce to The Hump.

The Bulldogs will kick off the new year on Jan. 1 at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network when Ole Miss comes to Starkville for the first of two meetings on national TV for the two in-state rivals. The following Sunday, Jan. 8, the Bulldogs will host South Carolina at 12 p.m. in a game scheduled for ESPN 2 or SEC Network. This is MSU’s only net flex game of the season, and the network will be determined 7-10 days out.

Mississippi State will next appear on national television on Jan. 22 when they host defending SEC Tournament champion Kentucky at noon on SEC Network. The Bulldogs’ first road SEC Network game will be Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. CT in Oxford for the final regular season meeting against Ole Miss.

Half of the Bulldogs’ nationally televised games will happen in February. The first of five live broadcasts will be MSU’s home contest against Tennessee on Feb. 6. The Bulldogs and Volunteers will play at 6 p.m. CT on the SEC Network. State’s next contest at Florida on Feb. 9 will tip-off at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

On Feb. 12, Mississippi State will host Texas A&M at 2 p.m. CT on SEC Network. Following their game vs. the Aggies, the Bulldogs will close out their home schedule on Feb. 23 on the SEC Network when they host Arkansas at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network. State will close out the 2022-23 regular season at LSU in a game that will tip-off at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

All other home games and road SEC games not on SEC Network will be streamed live on SEC Network+. Non-TV games played at Humphrey Coliseum will be played at 7 p.m. CT on weekdays and 3 p.m. CT on weekends.

Game times are subject to change. Mississippi State’s game vs. North Alabama on Nov. 11 will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will honor their seniors on Sunday, Feb. 19, when they host Alabama at 4:30 p.m.
