Minnesota Timberwolves could dominate the regular season in 2022-23

With the Minnesota Timberwolves’ media day now complete, fans and outsiders were able to gain greater insight into one of the most interesting teams in the NBA this coming season.

While many around the league are expecting the Wolves to be a playoff contender yet again, fans of the franchise have their sights set even higher. After all, the moves made by the front office this summer upgraded an already talented playoff roster.

The Timberwolves’ starting point guard D’Angelo Russell is coming off one of the best regular seasons of his career where he averaged a staggering 7.1 assists per contest. The floor general will be put in position to be even better with the likes of Rudy Gobert roaming the paint. The two will form an elite pick-and-roll combination.

Not to mention Anthony Edwards is set to break out into All-Star form. If he and Karl-Anthony Towns are performing at a borderline All-NBA level, the Timberwolves’ starting lineup may be one of the most intimidating…
