Four-star Dylan Harper visited Rutgers basketball this week

Dylan Harper was back visiting Rutgers basketball this week, as the star guard too yet another visit to campus for an unofficial visit.

A class of 2024 prospect, Harper is a four-star guard who is ranked as the No. 37 player in the nation and the third-best recruit in New Jersey according to 247Sports.

Harper is a true national recruit and he is right in the backyard of the program, playing his high school basketball at Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.). He holds offers from programs such as Duke, Georgetown, Indiana, Michigan, Texas Tech and UCLA among others.

Getting Harper on campus yet again is a huge positive for Rutgers as they are trending in the right direction with a program-changing recruit.

Last season, Don Bosco went 23-5 while playing one of the strongest schedules in the country.

It had been a busy week for Rutgers basketball as they’ve hosted several recruits including two standouts from Washington, D.C.

He is the younger brother of Ron Harper Jr., a former Rutgers basketball standout who is with the Toronto Raptors. Their father is Ron Harper, a former NBA star who won five championships during his 16 seasons in the league.
