Austin Reaves will throw first pitch for Dodgers on Lakers night

The Los Angeles Dodgers are having a whale of a season. As of this writing, they hold an 82-36 record, the best in Major League Baseball, and they’re looking like a championship team.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, which happens to be Mamba Day, the Dodgers will hold their annual Lakers night, and one of the Purple and Gold’s newest gems will be throwing the first pitch that night at Dodger Stadium.

It will be Austin Reaves, one of the few bright spots in an otherwise terrible season for the Lakers and a man who could turn out to be a full-time starter this coming season.

That night, the Dodgers will be taking on the Milwaukee Brewers, a team they recently split a four-game series with in Wisconsin. The Brewers are currently in second place in the National League Central division.
