Just when you think the Oregon Ducks men’s basketball program hit a recruiting lull, head coach Dana Altman works his magic.
Kwame Evans, Jr., who is ranked as the No. 2 player in the country per ESPN, committed to the Ducks Monday afternoon. The newest Duck spurned Arizona, Kentucky, and Auburn in order to come to Eugene.
With Evans signing for the Class of 2023, it’s expected five-star recruit Mookie Cook, who also de-committed earlier, will follow Evans’ lead and eventually sign with Altman’s program.
Though he is ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the 2023 class, where does Evans rank among the best recruits that Oregon has ever landed? Here is his spot in school history.
