The latest player to receive an offer from the UNC basketball program is five-star point guard Elliot Cadeau. The Missouri native is a 2024 prospect that is ranked in the Top 10 and is a big target for a lot of programs.
Cadeau has a total of 16 offers in his recruitment his play isn’t the only thing heating up this Summer.
The interest from programs is starting to pick up and with that come official visits. Cadeau has set an official to Texas Tech already and he has plans for more, including getting to North Carolina for a visit sometime soon.
Cadeau talked to Jamie Shaw of On3 about his recruitment and had this to say about the Tar Heels:
North Carolina: “I was recently offered by UNC, and I definitely want to go down there and take an official visit. Coach (Hubert) Davis has been watching me. They are a winning program. I like to be on teams that win.”
In addition to UNC and Texas Tech, Cadeau says that Baylor, Kentucky, and Tennessee are also showing interest in him as well. He’s also been contacted by Overtime Elite as well.
Cadeau is a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward as the Tar Heels continue to pursue prospects in the 2024 class.
