The Sacramento Kings have signed forward Chima Moneke. Moneke has played overseas for the last four seasons for clubs in France and Spain.
The 6-foot-6 Moneke is a native of Nigeria and played for new Kings head coach Mike Brown on the Nigerian National Team. Moneke was a two-year starter at UC-Davis and averaged 18.4 points and 9.6 rebounds as a senior.
After leaving college, Moneke played three seasons in France before moving to Spain last year. Last season, he averaged 14.1 points and 7.6 rebounds for Basquet Manresa last season.
