Basketball talent runs in the Bacot family

Armando Bacot makes rebounding history in Elite Eight

Is there a possibility that UNC basketball fans will be able to watch another member of the Bacot family play in Chapel Hill in a few years?!

Basketball talent simply runs through the Bacot family.

We all know how good Armando Bacot is, as heโ€™s been a standout performer for the UNC basketball program over his first three collegiate seasons. With at least one more season remaining at North Carolina, Bacot will not only continue to re-write the program record books but will aim to bring another national championship to Chapel Hill.

Of course, weโ€™ve all enjoyed watching Bacot suit up for the Tar Heels, and will certainly enjoy every last minute we have of seeing him compete in Carolina blue. However, he may not be the last member of the Bacot family to suit up for the UNC basketball program.

If you havenโ€™t heard about him yet, we suggest you look up King Bacot.

Yes, Armando Bacot has a brother, one who is already very skilled in the sport of basketball. He has plenty of time before he hits the college level, as heโ€™ll graduate high school in 2029, but itโ€™s never too early to think about the possibility of him following his older brotherโ€™s footsteps to North Carolina.

Even though heโ€™s only heading into the sixth grade this upcoming September, King Bacot is already receiving a lot of attention throughout the basketball circuit.

In the available Class of 2029 rankings (yes, there are already rankings for this class!), the lowest youโ€™ll find Bacot is No. 3 overall, which shouldnโ€™t be surprising given his highlight reels that are available to watch online. Top 25 Scouts is one of the sites that currently rank Bacot as the No. 1 overall player in his class, as heโ€™ll look to maintain that spot as he continues to develop his overall game.

King, who is currently active on social media, seems to be following the lead his brother has set for him. If everything plays out, we could be cheering on another Bacot in Chapel Hill in the future.

Yes, 2029 seems like a long time away. However, weโ€™re just curiousโ€ฆ itโ€™s never too early to start planning for the futureโ€ฆ

When can the UNC basketball program officially offer King Bacot…
