Stanley Johnson joined the Lakers during last season and was able to earn an important role on the team. Los Angeles holds a team option on the 26-year-old power forward for the next season.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Lakers are expected to exercise and keep Johnson for another year. He would make $2.35 million next season.
This past season Johnson averaged 6.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 22.8 minutes per game for the Lakers.
