Brooklyn Nets assistant coach Jordan Ott is Lakers assistant candidate

Over the weekend it was reported that the Brooklyn Nets assistant coach Jordan Ott is a candidate to join new Los Angeles Lakers coach Darvin Ham.

Brad Turner is an NBA correspondent for the LA Times and reported that Ott is a candidate being considered to join the new Lakers coaching staff.

Ott use to work with incoming Los Angeles coach Ham, for the Atlanta Hawks. Ham was an assistant coach there for five years and Ott worked as the video coordinator for the organization.

Ott is a candidate to join the new coaching team, alongside former NBA player Rasheed Wallace, according to reports.

Jordan Ott has been an assistant for the Nets for three seasons, after working with the  Hawks for a little while. Ott also worked under Hall of Fame coach Tom Izzo at Michigan State, serving the same capacity as he was with the Nets, video coordinator.
