The Golden State Warriors couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, as the Warriors won in a blowout despite Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combining for just 36 points.
The Warriors didn’t need hot shooting nights from any of their stars, as the suffocating team defense limited the Mavs to just 86 points, and Andrew Wiggins locked up Luka Doncic individually.
Doncic scored just 20 points in the game, and was limited to two points in the entire second half.
