According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid will require surgery to address the ligament tear in his right thumb, but that procedure will wait until after the Sixers’ season. Embiid shot 7-16 last game w/ just two attempts outside of 15 ft after averaging nearly 4 three-point attempts per game during the season.
