Noah Batchelor: “I’m really excited to come home and play for my homestate team! Coach Willard and the staff have been awesome and really and I can’t wait to play in front of the great fans at XFINITY Center. It’s an honor to be his first commitment. Being able to wear MARYLAND across my chest will have special meaning to me being from in-state.”

Head coach Kevin Willard: “It’s only fitting that our first signee at Maryland is an in-state player. We are thrilled to welcome Noah to our family. He’s a dynamic and athletic wing, who can shoot from outside and plays with great intensity. It’s important that we keep the best talent from the DMV at home and signing Noah is an indication of that. For him to be able to play for his homestate team is very special and we can’t wait to see him in that Terrapin uniform.”
