Former NBA star and current Michigan head coach Juwan Howard is among the potential candidates to replace Frank Vogel at the help of the Los Angeles Lakers, per Steve Bulpett.

It is widely expected that Vogel will be let go by the purple and gold following arguably the most disappointing season in the history of the franchise.

Howard, a two-time NBA champion while being a teammate of LeBron James on the Miami Heat, has been the head coach of Michigan since 2019.

Juwan Howard’s name has been floated as a candidate for the Lakers’ coaching job when, as is expected, Frank Vogel is let go. But an L.A. source tells https://t.co/CA94GXeXiS that Rajon Rondo could be coming in as an assistant coach should Howard somehow get pried from Michigan.
