Established in 1785, the University of Georgia is the first state-chartered public university in the United States.
With a living alumni base of more than 340,000 former students, UGA has a distinguished alumni community of scientists, entrepreneurs, Academy Award winners, U.S. senators, Pulitzer Prize recipients and governors.
There’s the famous alumni and attendees you’ll recognize from the football field, tennis and basketball courts and the golf course. And there’s celebrities who did not attend UGA, but you may be surprised to see them donning Bulldog apparel on a fall Saturday.
