Through 3 Quarters

The Phoenix Suns were the heavy favorites here for a reason. After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Los Angeles Lakers as Phoenix lead 100-80.

Shooting guard Devin Booker has led the way so far for the Suns, as he has shot 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and has recorded 32 points, four assists and seven rebounds. One thing to keep an eye out for is Deandre Ayton’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Los Angeles has enjoyed the tag-team combination of center Anthony Davis and center Dwight Howard. The former has 17 points in addition to eight boards, while the latter has ten points along with seven rebounds.

Halftime deficits have spelled doom for the Lakers, who haves lost 72% of the games in which they were down going into the the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Phoenix’s and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s matchup on Sunday was up for grabs at halftime, but the Suns were thoroughly outmatched 65-43 in the second half. Things…
