Anthony Davis scored 28 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in the 11th-place Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Denver Nuggets (129-118) on Sunday. LeBron James missed the game due to ankle soreness. Nikola Jokic had 38 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists for the Nuggets.

“We didn’t expect to only have 21 games together, but that’s been all year,” Anthony Davis said on the most frustrating part of the season, via ESPN. “The times we were together, we looked good. … That being said, we still have enough (players) to play a basketball game. We will continue to fight this way, give ourselves a chance, and see what happens.”

“It’s been tough not being able to fully reach our potential as far as us three being on the floor and seeing what we can really be.” @AntDavis23 on the most frustrating part of the season. pic.twitter.com/icDP45WLMu
