Boston Celtics big man Robert underwent a successful meniscus surgery on Wednesday morning.

As relayed by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics are hopeful that Williams will return from a 4-6 weeks timetable, good enough to land back in the lineup if ever they reach the Conference Semis and Finals.

Williams has been an integral ingredient in Boston’s late season of emergence that now sits at the 3rd column of the East with a 47-29 card. His defense will truly cover the paint woes of the Cs if ever an competitive encounter against Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo will happen in the next several months.
