NCAA Tournament 2022 bracket: Simulation predicts surprising upsets, March Madness picks, sleepers

The Pac-12 secured just three teams in the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket, the fewest of any power conference. The Pac-12 has a No. 1 seed, Arizona, along with UCLA as a 4-seed and No. 7 USC. Even a conference comprised of mid-majors like the Mountain West has more bids in March Madness 2022, leaving some fans pessimistic that the Pac-12 can end its 25-year drought without a national title. Fortunately, the three Pac-12 teams are all in different regions of the NCAA Tournament 2022 bracket, giving the conference a chance to be well-represented in the Final Four.

All three of Arizona’s losses this year came to unranked or lower-ranked teams. The Wildcats will have to navigate a tough South Region consisting of Villanova and Tennessee, both of whom won their respective conference tournaments, as well as a Houston squad coming off a Final Four run.
