Coach K's farewell tour: Virginia Tech denies Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski a 16th ACC Tournament title

Duke will enter coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final NCAA Tournament on the heels of a loss after the Blue Devils fell 82-67 to Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament title game on Saturday night. The loss snapped the Blue Devils’ streak of 10 straight wins away from home and denied Coach K a 16th ACC Tournament crown in his storied career.

Virginia Tech guard Hunter Cattoor scored a career-high 31 points as the Hokies secured an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament with the win and avenged an earlier loss to the Blue Devils. Duke was never within fewer than three points after the opening two minutes of the second half as the No. 7 seed Hokies won their fourth game in four days after entering the week on the wrong side of the bubble.
