Armando Bacot made UNC basketball history by recording two rebounding milestones in the Tar Heels’ most recent contest against Virginia Tech.

At this point, everyone should know that Armando Bacot is a rebounding machine.

In fact, the UNC basketball standout accomplished two program rebounding milestones in Friday night’s loss against Virginia Tech.

First, Bacot became just the second Tar Heel ever to surpass the 400-rebound mark in a single season. He will have the opportunity to set the school’s single-season record, as he’ll need just five rebounds in the Tar Heels’ upcoming tournament game to pass Brice Johnson’s mark of 416.

Armando Bacot just became only the second Tar Heel to record 400 rebounds in a season (joining Brice Johnson, who had 416 in 2016).

Additionally, Bacot became just the 13th Tar Heel to ever record 900 or more rebounds over their career in Chapel Hill.
