During one of his NFL Combine team meetings, Sam Howell showed why he never tried out for the UNC basketball program.
Sam Howell is a tremendous athlete. In fact, Howell probably has the potential to play at a high level in sports other than football.
However, during one of his individual team meetings at the NFL combine, the former Tar Heel quarterback showed us why he never tried out for the UNC basketball program.
When meeting with the media, Howell was asked if any teams presented him with strange questions (which happens quite often during these types of meetings). Although he wasn’t asked any out-of-the-ordinary questions, one team did ask the Indian Trail, North Carolina native to take part in an unusual game.
#UNC QB Sam Howell was asked if he’s had any strange questions from teams. No strange questions, but said the Eagles had him shoot a basketball on a mini hoop.
“I only made like 2 of 5, so I’m probably not high on their board right now” 😂 😂…
