Russell Westbrook and the Lakers are apparently on the same page when it comes to his fit in Los Angeles – or lack thereof.
The first-year Laker and the franchise have mutual interest in finding Westbrook a new team this summer, according to Bleacher Report.
The new report comes amid Westbrook’s continued shooting struggles and inability to gel with the LeBron James-led squad.
The point guard’s offensive lull — which included shooting 5-for-17 Tuesday in a loss to the Mavericks — and knack for turning the ball over has landed him a spot on the bench late in games.
Westbrook, who has started all 59 games he has appeared in as a Laker, reportedly isn’t keen on the idea of a sixth man role.
