California didn’t have too much trouble with the Stanford Cardinal at home on Saturday as they won 53-39. Guard Jordan Shepherd took over for California, finishing with 28 points (a whopping 53% of their total).
Meanwhile, ASU sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-61 win over the Utah Utes on Saturday. ASU got double-digit scores from four players: guard Jay Heath (20), forward Jalen Graham (15), forward Kimani Lawrence (10), and guard Luther Muhammad (10).
