UNC Basketball has different plans for this year's 'Senior Night'

The UNC basketball program’s ‘Senior Night’ will have a different look, as there are some changes to how the ceremony will be conducted.

When Hubert Davis took over as the head coach of the UNC basketball program, it was expected that there would be some changes.

Of course, Davis believes in the history and tradition of the program, having served as both a player and coach in it throughout the years. However, the first-year head coach isn’t Dean Smith, Bill Guthridge, or Roy Williams, all of which he talks about in very high regard, and it’s his turn to make his own personal stamp on the program.

We’ve seen some things change over his first season at the helm, and now we’ll see some more adjustments to how the program will celebrate its annual ‘Senior Night.’

Correction on a previous tweet: there will not be player speeches during #UNC‘s Senior Night activities, which will begin at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. There are no postgame festivities planned.
