Women's Basketball Faces Rhode Island Saturday For A-10 Title

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women’s basketball team hosts University of Rhode Island Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. with the Atlantic 10 regular season championship on the line. After the game, there will be a Senior Day ceremony recognizing the five senior student-athletes.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS

Dayton heads into the season finale a half game ahead of Rhode Island at 13-1 in A-10 play and 22-4 overall on the season. The Flyers have won three in a row and are 9-2 at home this season.

Head coach Shauna Green is in her sixth season in charge of the Flyers and was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year 2020, her second time at UD. She ranks second all-time in program history in career wins.

As a team this year, Dayton is averaging 66.5 points per game and holding opponents to just 55.0 points per game for a +11.5 differential. The Flyers are…
