BERKELEY, Calif.— Coming off their first conference win of the season, the Washington women’s basketball team beat Cal 61-60 in a game that came down to the final seconds. This is the Huskies (7-14, 2-11) first conference win on the road of the season.
The Dawgs came out red-hot on offense with Haley Van Dyke scoring 11 points, making three three-pointers to tie her career record of made threes in just the first quarter.
Going into the second period, the Huskies led the Golden Bears (12-10, 2-8) 21-18.
