The Elon Phoenix have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens and are hoping to record their first win since Jan. 31 of 2019. The Phoenix and Delaware will face off in a Colonial battle at 7 p.m. ET Thursday at Schar Center. Delaware should still be riding high after a big victory, while Elon will be looking to right the ship.
It’s never fun to lose, and it’s even less fun to lose 97-64, which was the final score in Elon’s tilt against the Hofstra Pride on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Delaware took their game against the James Madison Dukes on Monday by a conclusive 81-60 score.
Elon is expected to lose this next one by 3.5. Now might not be the best time to take the Phoenix against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.
