There is a new face in the backcourt of the Boston Celtics, one who might be familiar given how regularly he helped his prior team burn the Celtics on a regular basis — former San Antonio Spurs guard Derrick White.
But plenty of Celtics fans do not know his game well if at all, and the 27-year-old, 6-foot-4 wing is certainly worth getting to know if that happens to be the case with you as well. A product of the University of Colorado, White has played only for the Spurs — the team who drafted him 29th overall in 2017. He has averaged 11.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists over his pro career, and shot 34.4% from 3 and 44.5% overall.
