The Lamar Cardinals will hit the road for the second straight game as they head to CBU Events Center at 10 p.m. ET Thursday. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
The game between Lamar and the UTRGV Vaqueros last week was not a total blowout, but with the Cardinals falling 93-79 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, the California Baptist Lancers were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-50 to the Grand Canyon Antelopes.
