What to Know
The Georgetown Hoyas are 3-9 against the #15 Providence Friars since January of 2016, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Sunday. The Hoyas will stay at home another game and welcome Providence at noon ET Feb. 6 at Capital One Arena. The Friars will be strutting in after a victory while Georgetown will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Georgetown received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 90-77 to the St. John’s Red Storm. Guard Aminu Mohammed had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 31 minutes but putting up just four points on 1-for-13 shooting.
