BOULDER, Colo. – The Washington women’s basketball team wrapped up its weekend road trip on Sunday against Colorado.
The Huskies led after the first quarter and were tied at halftime but would ultimately fall by a score of 66-43.
Washington opened the game with a balanced offensive effort that saw five different players score its first five field goals. It was Nancy Mulkey who opened the scoring with a jumpshot.
Darcy Rees and Alexis Whitfield would give the Huskies production off the bench, with each of them scoring a layup to help UW grab a 15-13 lead after 10 minutes of play.
