Twins combine to score 58 in victory over Stevenson

FREDERICK, Md. – The brother duo of Mason and Evan Wang combined for 58 points as the Hood College men’s basketball picked up its fifth straight win, 110-78 over visiting Stevenson in MAC Commonwealth play. 

Inside the Numbers


Mason Wang finished with a game-high 33 points and Evan Wang added 25. For Mason Wang, it was his second straight 30-plus point game and fourth such game of the year. Evan Wang crossed over 1,100 points with the effort. 
Soren Almquist came off the bench for a career-high 12 points.

Notes


With the win, the Blazers improved to 12-5 overall and 9-1 in the MAC Commonwealth. 
It was the most points for Hood since scoring 111 against Stevenson in January 2020. 
Stevenson’s record slipped to 9-7 and 5-5 in the conference.
