TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Women’s Basketball (9-8, 3-4) and fifth-ranked Louisville (16-2, 6-1) renew their rivalry on Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center with an 8 p.m. matchup on the ACC Network.
Since Louisville joined the ACC in the 2014-15 academic year, the Seminoles own a 7-3 advantage in the all-time series as members of the ACC.
The Seminoles and Cardinals have been two of the premier programs in the ACC. They are the only two schools in the conference to clinch Top 4 seeds in the ACC Tournament in six of the last seven seasons, and are two of just 10 programs nationally whom have made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last eight seasons. The other programs include Baylor, Maryland, South Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M and UConn.
