Reavis scores career-high 15, but women fall at WashU, 79-53

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Brandeis University women’s basketball team played even on the road with Washington University for the first 20 minutes of action today, but the hosts opened the second half with 17 unanswered points to pull away for a 79-53 University Athletic Association victory. With the loss, the Judges fall to 5-9 overall on the season, while the Bears improve to 9-7, 3-2 UAA.

The Judges lost despite a career-high 15 points from junior guard/forward Emma Reavis (Miami, Okla./Deerfield Acad., Mass.). Reavis hit 6-of-8 from the field, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and hit her only free throw. Reavis also led the Judges with seven rebounds and had two assists.
