What to Know
The Clemson Tigers are 7-0 against the Pittsburgh Panthers since January of 2016, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Tigers and Pitt will face off in an ACC battle at 6 p.m. ET at Littlejohn Coliseum. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Clemson ended up a good deal behind the Syracuse Orange when they played on Tuesday, losing 91-78. Clemson’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of forward PJ Hall, who posted a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, and guard David Collins, who had 18 points.
Meanwhile, Pitt was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 66-61 to the Virginia Cavaliers. The top scorer for Pitt was forward John Hugley (23 points).
