SALISBURY, Md. — Christopher Newport women’s basketball hits the road again on Saturday, January 22 as they take on Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference rival Salisbury University (12-3) at 2:00 pm. The second-ranked Captains (15-0) travel to the Eastern Shore of Maryland for their sixth straight game away from home with the team’s third game in eight days.
Powered by a potent offense and stifling defense, the Captains have won all 15 games so far this season while climbing to No. 2 in both the WBCA and D3hoops.com Top 25 polls. Salisbury won 12 of it’s first 14 games before suffering an eight-point loss to Scranton, 63-55, in their last outing on Tuesday. The Sea Gulls will be looking to bounce back against the Captains, who have won ten straight against Salisbury.
